Civil Air Patrol

Kenny has joined the Civil Air Patrol! The Civil Air Patrol is the volunteer, non-profit auxiliary of the US Air Force. They train young people to be responsible citizens, aerospace leaders, and give them a taste of military life. This training includes Leadership, Aerospace Education, Physical Fitness, Character Development and community volunteer activities. Kenny would like to go to the Air Force Academy and serve as a pilot in the Air Force. We are really proud of his choices and are excited to see what lies ahead. He attended his first Basic Cadet School (BCS) this weekend. He did a great job and his flight (group) received the award for Best Flight. Here are the pictures (yes, you could have scooped me off the floor at the first site of my little boy in uniform!).

Do you think they will teach him to make his bed, fold his clothes and say Yes, Ma`am?
